Fully articulated frontal and parietal bones of possible male (based on glabella). Fused metopic suture is present at Glabella along with superciliary arches and the presence of bilateral supraorbital notches. Frontal sinus is opened and visible from the inferior as well as portions of the pars orbitalis. Mild bossing on the ectocranial surface of the frontal bone. Portions of the lacrimal fossa are also present. Flaking is present on the posterior ectocranial surface at midline as well as bilaterally. The superior portion of the Left greater wing of the sphenoid is present and articulates with the frontal bone. The frontal crest is present on the endocranial surface. All sutures of the L parietal bone are present and largely undamaged. Parietal striae and temporal lines are present on the L parietal. The sagittal suture of the let parietal articulates with the right parietal. A crack is present in the L parietal approximately 30mm anterior to the termination of the sagittal suture at the occiput. Blackish staining is present on the posterior Left parietal. The coronal suture of the Right parietal is present and articulated with the frontal. Post mortem breakage has eliminated the temporal and lambdoidal sutures. Bone flaking is present on both parietals. Sagittal sulcus is present on the endocranial surface of the parietals along with some slight attrition of the meningeal grooves. The frontal bone has very few meningeal grooves present.
